Paco Park

Pollution, dirt and trashes all over the corners, noise and traffic --these were just some factors why we tend to hate Manila. Though we live in this place for a long time already, still, we tend to make and create certain impressions towards Manila.

When we had this opportunity to tour around Manila and to let others see the wonders of Manila, we’ve thought of researching for places that would seem to be very historical yet a must see place in Manila, we had the brainstorming on how we would want Manila to be perceived by others preferably the tourist who happens to pass through our country.

Our First place was at Paco Park, in U.N Ave., Manila

Its historical look seems to be very nice, as if you are in Intramuros already. The green grasses it has, the chapel that stands at the center of the park is pretty much beautiful as well. There is a charge of P5.00 for every person who in turn serves as the maintenance for the park as well as its comfort room fee. It was not also very crowded so you could really enjoy staying there for the long time; the place is very clean and well maintained at the same time. Then from a very historical look we moved to Intramuros, Manila  -- the big rocks and border that seems to make you feel old and vintage but is still very nice, while walking on our way, Casa de Manila was there, San Agustin Church, and the well – known Manila Cathedral Church,

I have ridden in a kalesa, the first time of my life (though I’ve had my horseback riding beforeJ). We’ve just kept on walking around Intramuros and take every opportunity to appreciate its wonder.

As part of our journey in Intramuros, one hotel would really be striking over there, which is the “Bayleaf” its sky top view that is very beautiful, very relaxing and you could be able to oversee the entire Manila from its view, there is the Manila City Hall, the Golf course that surrounds Manila, and the entire Intramuros. 

It was such a very good opportunity for all of us to walk around Manila and is a nice venue for us to appreciate its views.♥

Paulinian's Next Top Model : Mademoiselle Collection

October 4, 2012 -- After 3 weeks of planning and hardships, the event all turned out well and just fine. Despite the trials and problems occurred during the pre-productions and planning still all of the organizers (including me!) were very much happy of the outcome that happened.

I've handled the Public Relations Department of our event, radio ads and dealt with the marketing tools as well. During the event I've hosted the event with enthusiasm though hundreds of butterflies were inside my stomach.

We have invited Ana Gonzales and Aisa Ipac, both bloggers and stylist with our alumni Michelle Sto. Tomas to judge our event.

We had also prepared photobooth for our guest, for them to enjoy as we go on with our program.

Sponsors were also present to support and help us with our event, Shakeys, Dunkin Donut and DQ.

Same with Isawshoez, Indulge accessories and Nowherenow clothing which provides the items for the models.

After screenings of the models, we have 6 lovely contestants who joined us with our fashion show. One ws hailed as our "Paulinian's Next Top Model"and received a top from nowherenow, accessories from indulge and a photoshoot from the online shop of nowherenow.

Having organized an event was pretty impossible at first but once you keep on believing on what you could do and to be able to maximize and utilized your potentials in this field everything would then be fine and fun. ♥
